Once part of the Environmental Science Program at Sheldon Jackson College, the hatchery raises and releases four species of Pacific salmon. The complex also features and aquarium of area marine life, including touch tanks. The hatchery and aquarium are situated on the college grounds, close to the Indian River estuary and an easy walk from downtown Sitka. Open daily during summer.
